XBox 360 or PS3?
Post your arguments as to which you think will be better. When I first saw the XBox 360 I thought it was awesome, but as I read more and more the PS3 is looking awesome to. So I can't really decide which one I should get :/

I would have to favor the PS just because I have always been a PS2 fan over the Xbox. That's just my peference. They both have capabilities the other ones don't.

Acording to videos of games and demos for PS3 I will definitely choose PS. Besides the new MGS will be out for Play Station and not for Xbox.

I think the PS3 because they seem to be taking their time in trying to get it right. Besides, I need more time to afford an HD tv anyway.

to be honest tehre is no competition between speed and power of the 2 consoles, the PS3 is way mnore powerfull but then it all depends on the games that are produced for them, if the xbox team make games that optimize the use of there machine and playstation sont then you might not get what you wanted with the PS3
At the moment ive got a PS2 and Xbox and i like my PC better than both for gaming so id rather just have a upgraded PC for the money

Agreed mustang although i will buy both xbox 360 and ps3 
I have to say though ps3 looks like the gameplay will be more enhanced and life like to xbox, either way there both fun Heh.

Seriously, both are cool... the problem with these next gen game consoles is that game designers are finding it tougher and tougher to produce games that take advantage of the console's technology. I think you're gonna see fewer game manufacturers in the future because it takes so much money to produce one game.

Playstation will win, it always does. Plus the fact it has more games, better games, most of the best games first before Xbox. Playstation all the way.

The manager of a video game store in the city I live in told me this week that Microsoft intends on releasing Halo 3 the very same day that the PS3 launches. I'm going to be one of those poor sods in line buying a XBOX 360 and PS3 the same day. I have no intention on buying the XBOX 360 until Halo 3 launches as I remain somewhat underwhelmed by the roster of games that will be available at launch.
The new GTA game is rumoured to launch sometime next year too.

Got to be PS3 i only trust Japanese companies to produce consoles and i'm not so sure bout nintendo's offering to this generation

Own both a PS2 and Xbox currently. The Xbox was only around for Halo.
Will be getting a PS3, there's really no compelling reason to get an Xbox 360. Next gen really doesn't start until PS3 and Revolution hit, IMO.

I have a 360 an will be getting a PS3 eventually. BUT
I learned my lesson from the 360 Launch when I stood outside all night to get one, I will WAIT until I see a MUST have game for PS3 then will pick it up. The titles scheduled for release day arent all that impressive imo.

family owns a movie rental store and i noticed blu rays (movies and ps3) would never be returned with a single scratch.. i investigated and found out it takes a butcher knife to scratch blu ray format disks... impressive
